john Redmon Biography
John Redmon is an Independent Music Award Nominee, Golden Flame Award and Hollywood Song Jubilee Silver Award Recipient. As a consummate professional, he is hailed as one of Colorado's most beloved and talented artists. He is known for his large repertoire and effortless ability to transition between jazz, inspirational, country, pop, classical and patriotic music.
A Louis Armstrong impressionist since 2017, Redmon has performed the Armstrong classic What a Wonderful World throughout the United States. He has also recorded an audio single with Thomas J. Dawson, Jr. iOrchestra and a short-form music video with Moonshine Media, which received 1500 views in the first week of release. John Redmon is excited to release his first full-length album as a Louis Armstrong impressionist entitled Honoring Louis Armstrong, due to be released early 2020 on the Reaching Records label.
Thomas J. Dawson, Jr. Biography
Thomas J. Dawson, Jr. is an accomplished musician, producer, composer, recording engineer and film editor, Thomas J. Dawson Jr. is a highly sought-after talent with over 40 years in the music industry. A recipient of a Gold Album for his work with the R&B group Changing Faces, Dawson has worked with music royalty such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Rowland, Eric Benet, Howard Hewitt, and the Commodores.
Dawson is a professor of audio recording at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and he also tours nationally as a guest lecturer. Currently, he is the Commodores’ music director and lead keyboardist as well as a co-producer of many of their songs and CDs. He is also the musical director and co-founder of The Center for Harmonic Health and Healing. Mr. Dawson’s latest project is as the producer and arranger for the Honoring Louis Armstrong tribute album featuring Mr. John Redmon.
